CBI Director Ranjit Sinha has filed his affidavit in a sealed envelope before Supreme Court in a case arising out of the controversy over visitor's list at his residence.

Supreme court had on Monday, asked Sinha to file his response on the allegations leveled against him.

The Apex Court had said, allegations made against him are serious and if it finds merit in the averments made against Sinha then it will quash all the decisions taken by him during the pendency of the case.

Sinha has been in the midst of a controversy over leaked documents showing details of visitors, including representatives of companies involved in the 2G telecom spectrum and coal block allocation scams, meeting him at his residence.
