The Supreme Court has directed advocate Prashant Bhushan to reveal source of information regarding visitor's list at Central Bureau of Investigation Director's residence and CBI file notings.
The apex court asked Mr Bhushan to give the name of the whistle blower in a sealed envelope. The court directed its registry to keep all documents and affidavits filed by CBI Director in a sealed cover and deposit it with Secretary General for safe custody.
It also said, the affidavit filed by Mr Bhushan is not in consonance with its rules. The next hearing in the matter will take place on the 22nd of this month.
Meanwhile, CBI Director Ranjit Sinha has said before the bench that 90 percent of entries in the register are forged while some entries may be genuine. Mr Sinha also questioned the very existence of the diary and authenticity of its contents.
