Visiting French Prez Hollande holds delegation-level talks with PM

French President Francois Hollande who is on a two-day visit to India was given a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan today. Later he visited Rajghat in New Delhi and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi.
External affairs Minister Salman Khurshid called on Mr Hollande this morning. The French President also held delegation-level talks with Prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh. Both sides will also sign agreements on various bilateral issues of mutual interest.
During his stay in Delhi, the visiting dignitary will call on President Pranab Mukherjee and meet the top leadership of the country. He will honour Professor Amartya Sen with Commandeur de la legion d'Honneur. Mr Hollande will also visit Mumbai on Friday to attend an economic conference and hold business meetings with captains of Indian industry.
