Indian Grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand tasted defeat in the second game of World Chess Championship 2014, being held in Sochi, Russia. Reigning champion Magnus Carlsen from Norway took the game away from Anand who played with the black pieces. With Carlsen's first victory as early as in the second tie of the 12-game match, Carlsen now leads by 1.5 points to 0.5 points. Today will be a rest day and the match will resume tomorrow onwards. Earlier, the first game between the two players had ended in a draw.
