Visakhapatnam will host the 47th Andhra Pradesh state police sports and games meet from March 11.The city's police commissioner B. Shivdhar Reddy said today that personnel from various parts of the state will participate in categories like volleyball, football, hockey, basket ball, handball, gymnastics etc. during the five-day event to be held at various grounds in the city. About 2000 participants, including 120 women athletes from across the state, will participate in the meet. Visakhapatnam had hosted similar events in 1999 and 2006.
