In Gujarat, total number of COVID-19 cases has gone up to 5,054 with 333 new cases reported during last 24 hours. According Health officials, 3,860 patients are stable while 36 patients are on ventilator support. Total 262 people have died so far, while 896 patients have been cured and discharged from the various hospitals.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports that total number of cases in Ahmedabad has gone up to 3,543, out of which 250 cases have been detected during the last 24 hours. AIR correspondent adds that lockdown is being strictly implemented in nine districts falling in Red Zone.<br />'' <br />'' AIR  correspondent reports, State Director General of Police Shivanand Jha has said that Red Zone areas will be cordoned off for strict implementation of lockdown. He said that police patrolling will be intensified in Green and Orange Zones to prevent unauthorized entry. Meanwhile, three Shramik Special Trains operated from Gujarat to carry stranded labourers to their native states yesterday.<br />'' <br />'' Out of these, two trains left Ahmedabad for Uttar Pradesh, while one train left Surat for Odisha. About 1,200 migrant workers accommodated in each train after registration and medical check-up. State Government appealed the stranded workers to register themselves on District Control Room number 1077.<br />'' <br />'' Senior IAS officer Vipul Mitra has been appointed to coordinate the smooth movement of stranded workers, tourists, students etc through special trains. <br />''  <br />
