Virender Sehwag dropped from Indian squad for final 2 Tests against Aus

Out-of-form opener Virender Sehwag was today dropped from India's cricket squad for the final two Tests against Australia. The squad was trimmed to 14, with the selectors deciding against picking a replacement for Sehwag, who scored just 27 runs in the first two tests. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who has also been struggling to regain his peak form, was, however, retained in the squad. Barring Sehwag, there were no other changes in the squad for the two matches, to be played in Mohali from 14th March and Delhi from 22nd March.India is currently leading the four-match series, 2-0. They had defeated the Aussies with thumping victories in the first two tests at Chennai and Hyderabad.Meanwhile, the Australian Cricket team reached Chandigarh today for the third test at Mohali. Michael Clarke-led-Australia will begin their practice sessions from 10th March.The Indian team is likely to reach Chandigarh on Monday.
