Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan fit to play Melbourne Test

India's opener Shikhar Dhawan and vice-captain Virat Kohli have recovered from their injuries sustained during the second Test against Australia. The two are now fit to play the third test match beginning in Melbourne on Friday. This has been reported in the 'Sydney Morning Herald', quoting an Indian team spokesperson.The two batsmen sustained the injuries at the Gabba nets before play on the fourth morning of the second Test. Meanwhile, young left-arm spinner Akshar Patel will replace an injured Ravindra Jadeja. The all-rounder was today ruled out due to a shoulder injury from India's remaining two cricket Tests against Australia. According to a BCCI media release, Akshar Patel will join the Indian team in Australia for the remainder of the Test Series. Ravindra Jadeja will be returning to India to undergo a rehabilitation program. India are trailing 0-2 in the four match series, after losing the Adelaide and Brisbane Tests.
