Virat Kohli becomes first Indian captain to hit three double centuries

Kohli amassed his third double ton – all coming this year – as India consolidated their position in the fourth Test against England in Mumbai.Replying to England's first innings score of 400, India made 631. The hosts have a first innings lead of 231 runs.Earlier, after resuming play at the overnight score of 451 for 7, Kohli and Jayant Yadav continued to frustrate the English bowlers and India were 579 for 7 at lunch. While Kohli was out for 235, Yadav scored 104 – his maiden Test century. Both shared 241 runs for the 8th wicket.India only need to draw this fourth game to seal the 5-game series and stay at the top of the ICC Test rankings. They are currently leading the series, 2-0.
