Assam Chief Minister Mr. Tarun Gogoi has warned that his Government will not tolerate violence and killing of innocent people by militants. He said necessary instructions have been given to the administration and security agencies to carry out vigorous drive against the anti-social forces that are out to disturb the democratic system in the state. <br/> <br/>The Chief Minister said that militants are trying to indulge in fratricidal killings, particularly in Bodoland Territorial Council area. He said these are to be dealt with stern hands. <br/> <br/>The Gogoi was reacting to a comment passed by the opposition Asom Gana Parishad leader Mr. Chandra Mohan Patowary. <br/> <br/>Referring to killing of former spokesperson of All Boro Peace Forum (ABPF) Lilavati Daimary by unidentified gunmen at her Doulguri residence in Udalguri district on Monday last, the opposition leader Mr. Patowary in a press conference at Guwahati alleged that the State Government was indulging in secret killings.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, thousands of people on Wednesday came out on the streets against terrorism, forming a human chain, under the aegis of the Nalbari district unit of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chhatra Parishad (AJYCP). Representatives from different organisations including students, employees, labourers and rickshaw pullers together raised their voices against the heinous act of terrorists.<br/>
