<br/>Giving a green signal to annual strategies of National Water Mission and Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme, Minister of State for Water Resources Vincent Pala said that his ministry will practically implement the policies regarding the linkage of rivers from this year. <br/><br/>Expressing his commitment on water conservation and diversion, the minister launches a wholehearted campaign for articulate recharge of ground water and deviation of surplus water from surplus basins to avoid disastrous flood situations like that of Punjab and Haryana. Mr. Pala said that he will cooperate with the ministries of agriculture and irrigation for better implementation of these policies to impart maximum benefit to the farmers.
