Because of the epidemic, no one is ready to go to the hospital, even on a bicycle. In such cases, the patient either has to take his own vehicle or wait for an ambulance. Ambulance operators charge extra for short distances even if the ambulance is received on time. All these matters came to the notice of Vinay Singh, a teacher by profession and a resident of Lokmanya Nagar Thane. To make way for this, he started using his own private car from April 27 this year for such patients. He is proud to say that his vehicle has so far provided service to 55 corona patients to the hospital. He also bear the cost of the driver and CNG of his private vehicle. Vinay's work in providing services to corona patients by using plastic partitions in his vehicle, wearing his own PPE kit and proper sanitation of the vehicle is currently being appreciated all over the city of Thane.
