<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, a village level task force, formed with members from all families of a village, Chhingchhip in Serchhip district has taken up an exemplary role in times of distress out of COVID-19.&nbsp; With positive cases of Coronavirus entering this village, the&nbsp; villagers have taken up a bigger deal in setting up a Community COVID Care Centre (CCCC) to take care of COVID-19 patients of their village and adjoining areas as well.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">With the Village Level Task Force (VLTF) embarking on the move, Church and NGO's have come together to strengthen facilities of the CCCC as the dreaded virus has entered into their village.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chhingchhip VLTF Secret Mr Lalramthara said since cases are being detected in the village, COVID patients were bound to travel to the district headquarter for treatment and this has an enormous toll on their emotional well being. They bid farewell to their loved ones with tears and they have witnessed this tragic story many times in the past months. He said, this has prompted the villagers to set up a centre for treatment and it has now been materialised because of the selfless medical team working in their village PHC.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As of now, 14 patients including children have been admitted to the CCCC. Medical team from Chhingchhip Primary Health Centre are giving treatment to these patients. Contributions taken from most of the families living in the village, the church and NGOs have helped set up this centre. Food and medicines are being provided from these contributions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Lalramthara further said that Chhingchhip VLTF has opened up to neighbouring villages and said, anyone in need of COVID treatment is welcome in the centre. Meanwhile, MLA Lalrinawma has given Rs. 1 lakh in donation to improve the facilities in this centre.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
