Science and Technology minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today took the additional charge of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The development comes in the wake of resignation of former Union Minister Virbhadra Singh from the Cabinet. Mr Singh stepped down following framing of corruption charges against him for alleged misuse of office when he was the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister in 1989.
