Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is continuing its inspiring journey throughout the country. The Yatra was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15th of last month. During the last three weeks the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has been organised at a large number of villages and tribal areas across the country. The Yatra aims at informing and empowering citizens about the flagship schemes of the government, and receives huge public response. Along with the rest of the country, the VBSY is being organised in Tripura.<br />''<br />''In the state, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has so far been organised in over 90 Panchayats with 16 IEC Vans in force. According to the officials, this is a major initiative to saturate the benefits of central government schemes to the public at the grassroots.  For  this purpose, the campaign adopted IEC activities through screening of visuals on welfare schemes from mobile Vans and on-the-spot service delivery camps in venues.  <br />''<br />''Marginalized people left-out of any benefits of development schemes throng these camps to enrol freshly and get sanction letters of benefits from schemes like PM Ujjawala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Card, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Jaal Jeevan Mission etc.<br />''<br />''Many beneficiaries also participated in the VBSY camps to get engaged more with the development process.
