<span style="color: #222222;">The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Kasaragod district was launched at Periya in Kerala on Sunday (26 November 2023). The event was inaugurated by the Periya Gram Panchayat President, C K Aravindakshan.<br />'' <br />'' From Monday (27 November 2023), the Yatra will begin tour of Kollam and Kannur districts of the state. Cine Star and former MP Suresh Gopi will inaugurate the event in Kollam, in which various central government institutions and organisations will take part. Special IEC vans will move around various places in both the districts, spreading awareness about the schemes.<br />'' <br />'' In Kannur, the programme will be launched at Cherupuzha, by Gram Panchayat President K F Alexander. There will be  demo on the application of new technologies like drones in the area of agriculture, while efforts will be intensified to enroll new beneficiaries, so that more people will be able to derive the benefit of the schemes. The tour programme will cover 71 gram panchayats in the district.</span><br />
