Vijayadasami being celebrated across Kerala

Keralites across the globe celebrate Vijayadashami as the vidhyarambham day, the auspicious day for beginning learning in any field.<br />''<br />''Following strict Covid protocol, "vidhyarabham" is taking place in the State in houses, temples and cultural centres this morning. The number of people is restricted to prevent crowd in many areas, and in many important temples, the parents will initiate learning to the toddlers other than the usual practice of gurus. </span><br />''<br />''Various sacred rituals are being conducted in temples across the state adhering to strict Covid guidelines. AIR correspondent reports, Temples at Panachikkad in Kottayam, Chottanikkara and Dakshina Mookambika in Ernakulam, Thunchan Mutt in Palakkad and at various other centres, children above three years of age were introduced to the world of letters. Ceremonies were held in a low-key atmosphere adhering to Covid 19 protocols.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">At most of the places, parents performed the initiation ceremony in view of Covid 19. The Vidyarambham ceremony at Thunchan Parambu in Malappuram district was cancelled this year in view of the pandemic.
