Olympic medallists Vijay Kumar and Yogeshwar Dutt have been jointly conferred the country's highest sporting honour – Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. The Olympic heroes received their Khel Ratna Awards from the President Mr Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi last evening. Both the medallists collected the trophy that consists of a medal, citation and cash prize of 7.5 lakh rupees each.25 sportspersons were also honoured with the Arjuna awards at a glittering function in the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is preparing to stage a comeback, also received Arjuna award.Hockey mid-fielder Sardar Singh, wrestler Geeta Phogat and Narsingh Yadav, shooters Annu Raj Singh and Omkar Singh, shuttlers P Kashyap and Ashwini Ponappa, archers Deepika Kumari and Bombayla Devi were among Arjuna Award winners this year.
