Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel reckons that many of the recommendations made by the Lodha panel are very well and the government would bring new sports code after considering different viewpoints. Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the first ever Indian Women's football league yesterday, Mr Goel said, firstly, they will look at the recommendations made by the Lodha panel, and then they will think of bringing the new sports code. Notably, a petition filed by a group of 28 sports persons, including former hockey player Ashok Kumar as well as former swimmer and Olympian Nisha Millet seeking to implement the Lodha Panel's recommendations on other sporting federations as well.
