Jharkhand Vigilance Bureau officials continued their raids on the second day on Wednesday at office of National Games Organising Committee (NGOC) at Morhabadi in Ranchi. The raids were on when reports last came in. However, officers are not revealing the details of the documents seized. Last year the Vigilance Bureau had registered a case against Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA) President R.K. Aanand, General Secretary S.M. Hasmi and Treasurer Madhukant Pathak of the Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA) and members of the NGOC. It was alleged that the equipment used in the 34th National Games, were purchased at higher rates causing huge losses to the state exchequer. On Tuesday, the Bureau officers had extensively raided houses and offices of top members of the National Games Organising Committee (NGOC) in Ranchi and Dhanbad at the games office and houses of S.M. Hasmi, general secretary and Madhukant Pathak, treasurer, of the Jharkhand Olympic Association (JOA).
