br/For the first time, the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) has put out on its website a list of 123 government officials it wants penalised or prosecuted for corruption. The list was compiled in July. Until now, the CVC had been making public only the number of corrupt officials, not their names.br/br/According to sources, the Cabinet Secretary has asked Secretaries in various Ministries not to delay sanction for the prosecution of corrupt officials, warning that the CVC would make public the names of the officials shielded by their departments.br/
