In Tamil Nadu, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-corruption officials today conducted raids at the residence and educational establishments of former DMK Minister Veerapandi Arumugham. The raids were conducted for allegedly amassing disproportionate wealth when he was the agriculture minister in the previous government. The raids are also being conducted simultaneously in 16 other places in Tamil Nadu.
