Vigilance Awareness Week being observed with theme 'Independent India @75: Self-Reliance with Integrity'

In a message on the Vigilance Awareness Week being observed by Central Vigilance Commission, Mr Kovind said, it is the responsibility of all citizens to reaffirm these ideals. Mr Kovind said, it is the duty of all the citizens to be vigilant and combat corruption in every sphere of life.<br />''<br />''In a message, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu expressed hope to see all citizens and stake holders collectively participate in large numbers in the fight against corruption. Mr Naidu urged all to come together to reiterate the ideals of integrity, transparency and accountability.<br />''<br />''Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his greetings to all those associated with the organisation of vigilance awareness week starting today. Mr Modi said, in the last seven years, the government has taken a policy of zero-tolerance against corruption.<br />''<br />''The Prime Minister said, all citizens should rededicate themselves to abolish corruption from all walks of life.</span><br />
