‘Vidyarthi Garjana’ allowed with stringent conditions

In Andhra Pradesh, students’ Joint Action Committee of Osmania University has been allowed with stringent conditions to hold Public meeting in Hyderabad today. The city police commissioner has given permission to the proposed public meeting following the High Court directions to allow the student conclave with conditions. The students’ JAC moved high court after the police denied permission to the proposed ‘Vidyarthi Garjana’ (Roar of Students) that is how they call student public meeting. Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy heard the case at his residence last evening and directed that the meeting be allowed with stringent conditions. Following court orders, the police have given permission to the student public meeting today with conditions such as barring political leaders and Maoists from addressing the meeting being held in favour of separate Telangana state. The Students JAC should also file bonds before the Police and the meeting should conclude before 6.30 in the evening. Tight security arrangements are in place in and around Hyderabad as Large numbers of students are expected to turn up for the meeting.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, a head of the crucial meeting of eight political parties convened by Union Home Ministry in Delhi, hectic parleys are underway among the political leaders from Telangana and rest of the State.
