Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari returned home this morning after completing his two nation tour to Armenia and Poland. Terming the visit as 'good trip to friendly countries' Mr Ansari said, there? has been regeneration in cooperation level.<br/><br/>Briefing media on board, the Vice President said, both Armenia and Poland warmly welcomed India and that shows their interest for a better economic and cultural ties. AIR correspondent reports that India's intention to make its presence stronger in Eurasia and Central Europe has certainly? got boost after Vice President's? successful visit to Armenia and Poland. The Vice President met top leadership? of both the nations and had fruitful talks with them. <br/><br/>On one hand, where Armenia promised to support India for its non permanent membership at the United Nations Security Council, Poland on the other extended its support for a permanent membership at the expanded security council. Both nations reiterated for their support at other international forums.This visit also opened ways for more high level meets as Armenian President has been invited to visit India and their foreign Minister invited India's external affairs minister. It was informed by Mr. Ansari that Polish President will also be visiting India by end of this year. <br/><br/>With Poland India has identified specific areas of cooperation. Them being clean technology, agriculture technology and defence. Armenia, India signed three agreements in the field of cultural co-operation, youth affairs and peaceful use of space. Rounding up his visit, Mr Ansari himself said, the results have been positive and he is satisfied with the outcome.
