Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari is on a day visit to Gujarat. He was received by the Governor of Gujarat Dr.Shrimati Kamala, Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, Chief Secretary of the State and other dignitaries at Ahmedabad Air Port on Tuesday afternoon. He had brief meeting with Governor of Gujarat Dr.Shrimati Kamala and Chief Minister Mr.Narendra Modi at Gandhinagar Rajbhavan. AIR Ahmedabad Correspondent reports that Vice President Shri Mohammad Hamid Ansari is scheduled to preside the 31st Convocation Ceremony of National Institute of Design-NID-Ahmedabad. Apart from conferring degrees to the Post Graduates students, Mr. Ansari also delivered convocation speech on this occasion.
