Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu has called upon every citizen to contribute in the preservation of historical places in the country. He was speaking after felicitating renowned archaeologist and historian Dr. G. B. Deglurkar with Punyabhushan Puraskar in a function in Pune today.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Naidu asserted that the preservation of artefacts and monuments is not only the duty of the government but it is everyone's duty.
