On the third day of his visit to Zambia, the Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari on Thursday will be meeting with the Zambian foreign affairs minister, Mr Kabinga Pande and Commerce, Trade and Industries minister Mr Felix C Mutati. <br/> <br/>On Wednesday, India extended a liberal credit line of 130 million US dollars to Zambia as the two countries agreed to reinvigorate and re-energise their relationship to mirror the changed international scenario. <br/> <br/>AIR correspondent covering the visit reports this will also step up India's presence in Africa. <br/> <br/>The visit of the Vice President has added new dimensions to the India Zambia relations with the focus on economic partnership. This comes close on the heels of India extending line of credit Zambia to produce more hydropower to accelerate the pace of development. Mr Ansari is all set to meet the Indian diaspora later in the day. <br/> <br/>He will also meet the first President of independent Zambia Dr Kenneth Kaunda to push the relation between the two countries to a higher pedestal. The Vice President will be leaving at the second leg of his three nation tour to Malawi later in the afternoon. <br/><br/>
