Vice President Venkaiah Naidu paid visit to Shravanabelagola in Karnataka today to take part in the 88th Mahamastakabhisheka of Bhagawan Bahubali. <br/><br/>Speaking on this occasion, he said that visit of Jain Muni Bhadrabahu and great Maurya King Chandragupta Maurya to Shravanabelagola in 3rd Century is an example of how India's cultural matrix has evolved with contribution from people from all over the Sub-Continent. He hoped that the blissful event of Mahamastakabhisheka will prompt each one of us to introspect and purify our thoughts and actions to build a better world.<br/><br/> Union Minister Ananth Kumar, Member of Parliament P C Mohan and Shravanabelagola Mutt guru Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji among other dignitaries, munies and matajies were present on this occasion.
