Vice President Dr. Hamid Ansari today said, he felt great about Dr. M. Sreenivasan who inspired his students to take up studies into the social, economic challenges facing the country, particularly the marginalised sections. For, Dr. Sreenivasan believed that the best way to deal with hopelessness was to serve others.<br/><br/>Dr. Ansari was speaking after unveiling the statue of renowned educationist Dr. Sreenivasan at Kollam in Kerala this evening. Governor Justice P. Sathasivam and other dignitaries were present at the function held at the campus of the Sree Narayana College where Dr. Sreenivasan taught for a quarter century and was principal for nearly two decades.<br/><br/> The Vice President who reached the State on a three-day visit, will attend various programmes in Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam before returning to New Delhi on Wednesday.
