Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu today said, boosting agriculture sector is one of the top priorities of the government. Mr Naidu was addressing the International Conference of Asia Pacific Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture (AFITA) and World Congress on Computers in Agriculture (WCCA) organised at IIT Bombay. The Vice President said the benefits of Digital Smart farming has already being realised in the country.&nbsp;<br />''<br />''He stressed on the need to prioritise and build a rural-urban divide, adding that farmers should be able to use new technological tools to increase their agricultural produce. Mr Naidu said, the farmers need to diversify and should take up allied activities like poultry and fishery for sustenance. He said, loan waiver or electricity waiver to farmers cannot be a permanent solution.<br />''<br />
