<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu paid his respects and tributes to the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore. He was addressing through virtual mode the concluding ceremony of the Birth Centenary celebration of late Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, the Maharaja of erstwhile Mysore kingdom. The Vice President  said that Maharaja Chamaraja Wadiyar had established a responsible government in the Mysore State by setting up the Constituent Assembly and an interim popular Government with K.C. Reddy as Chief Minister. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further noted that the then Maharaja was a perfect blend of ancient traditional values of Indian civilization and the modernism of the western world. The Vice President said the erstwhile ruler of Mysore actively encouraged the establishment of an industrial facility in Bengaluru by a company called Hindustan Aircraft Ltd in 1940 which became Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd post-Independence. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Vice President said that stalwarts like Sri Jayachamaraja preserved and promoted grand cultural tradition of India of living together and working together, for the country, the world and the entire humanity.</span><br />
