Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrives in Kerala for two-day visit

The Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for a two-day visit to Kerala. Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, State Minister Antony Raju, and other dignitaries received him at the airport. The Vice President was accorded a ceremonial guard of honour on his arrival to the state. This is Jagdeep Dhankhar's first visit to Kerala as the Vice President of India. Mr. Dhankhar offered prayers at the famous Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram this evening.<br />'' <br />''On  Monday, the Vice President will inaugurate the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Kerala Legislative Assembly building in Thiruvananthapuram. He will also release a souvenir of the Kerala Legislature International Book Festival. Later in the day, the Vice President will visit the Indian Naval Academy at Ezhimala in Kannur, where he will interact with the cadets. In Kannur, the Vice President will pay respects to his teacher, Ms. Rathna Nair, at her residence in Thalassery. Ms. Nair taught Mr.Dhankhar when he was a student at Sainik School in Chittorgarh.<br />
