Vice President Inaugurates Rajasthan Assembly Enlightenment Program

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that in the parliamentary system, it is the responsibility of members of both the ruling party and the opposition to run the House smoothly. While inaugurating the enlightenment program of the newly elected MLAs of Rajasthan Assembly in Jaipur today, the Vice President said that the conduct of the members in the House should be as per dignity. He said that the legislature along with the executive should give priority to development and welfare of the common people.<br />''<br />''In the concluding session of the enlightenment programme, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the issues should be taken positively in the house, so that work can be done towards public welfare. He said that there should be a meaningful debate in the house.<br />''<br />''On this occasion, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said that the enlightenment program has been organized with an aim of making the newly elected MLAs aware of the procedure and rules of the House. He urged the MLAs to raise their views in the House, only as per the rules.<br />''<br />''In the program, M.P. Dr. Satyapal Singh, former Assembly Speaker Dr. C.P. Joshi, former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Rao Rajendra Singh and various senior public representatives including Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani gave various information to the MLAs about the rules and procedures of the House.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar also interacted with students of the Rashtriya Military School, Dholpur, as part of his day-long visit to Rajasthan. He discussed other topics related to education. Before this, the Vice President visited Shri Mahavir Ji temple and offered prayers. During this visit, his wife Sudesh Dhankhar and Deputy Chief Minister P.C. Bairava were also present.</span><br />
