Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today inaugurated an exhibition Kurai Onrum Illai in New Delhi to mark the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna Dr M S Subbulakshmi. <br/><br/>Mr Naidu also released a commemorative coin on the doyen of Carnatic Music to mark the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Mr Naidu said, M.S. Subbulakshmi was the nightingale of India. He said, through her vocal, M.S. Subbulakshmi not only mesmerized India but the whole world.<br/><br/>The Vice President stressed on keeping the rich Indian traditions like Hindustani and Carnatic Music alive.
