Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari today arrived in Phnom Penh on the first leg of his four day official visit to Cambodia and Lao Peoples Democratic Republic . <br/><br/>Talking to media persons on board Mr. Ansari said that strengthening relations with the two South East Asian countries of Cambodia and Lao will further enhance India's relations with the ASEAN. <br/><br/>He said India has age old relations with these two countries. Mr. Ansari said both Cambodia and Lao PDR have gone through difficult stages but at all levels and all international fora India has helped them and continues to do so. <br/><br/>On the second leg of his visit the Vice President Mr. Ansari will leave for Lao PDR for a two day visit on Thursday the 17th of this month.
