After concluding his visit to Nigeria, Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari reached Mali capital Bamako this evening on the final leg of his two-nation visit to West Africa.<br/><br/>Mr Ansari's visit will be the first high-level visit to Mali by an Indian leader. During his stay, the Vice President will meet the country's President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and Prime Minister Modibo Keita. He will also address the National Assembly before returning home on Saturday.<br/><br/>In Nigeria, the Vice President had visited capital Abuja and former capital Lagos. He held wide-ranging discussions with the country's leadership. Mr Ansari also addressed the National Defence College in Abuja and delivered a lecture in the Lagos University today. The Vice President also met the Indian community in both the cities during the visit.
