Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has asked aviation industry to place passengers' convenience at the centre of all activities. <br />''<br />''<br />''He said the safety of passengers should be paramount for any transportation service. <br />''<br />''<br />''Mr Naidu was addressing a gathering in New Delhi on Tuesday after releasing the Economic Impact Report and Coffee Table Book encapsulating the growth story of Indian Aviation. <br />''<br />''<br />''He said governments, policymakers and business enterprises must ensure hassle-free environment at airports for commuters. <br />''<br />''<br />''The Vice President further said that government's efforts to improve domestic air connectivity and make it affordable will get a boost if the quality infrastructure is built and efficient customer services are provided by airliners. <br />''<br />''<br />''Mr Naidu added that Public Private Partnership is the most suitable mode of developing such an infrastructure and it is the best model to provide quality services at an affordable price. <br />''<br />''<br />''Mr Naidu also said that connectivity is the key to economic growth and the aviation industry has a huge scope for development. <br />''<br />''<br />''He said the growth of the aviation sector will have a multiplier effect on the Indian economy as it will positively impact the hospitality and tourism sectors among others.<br />''<br />
