The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has rejected any scope for talks on the disputed site at Ayodhya. VHP president Ashok Singhal said they only want a verdict from the court. He gave an assurance that that the outcome will be dealt with peacefully. He, however, said if the outcome is not in their favour, their opposition will be in the form of public movements in a democratic way and without any violence.
