Senior VHP leader Ashok Singhal passed away this afternoon. 90 year old Singhal was suffering from serious respiratory problems and was admitted in a private hospital in Gurgaon four days back. He breathed his last at 2.24 PM today. His cremation will take place tomorrow evening in New Delhi. A bachelor and an RSS pracharak all his life, Singhal was the prominent leader of temple movement in Ayodhya. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the passing away of VHP leader Ashok Singhal. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, Singhal was an institution in himself, whose life was centred around serving the nation.
