Veteran journalist A Surya Prakash today took charge as the chairman of the Prasar Bharati board for a second consecutive term.<br/><br/>CEO Prasar Bharati Shashi Sekhar Vempati, Member (Finance) Rajeev Singh, Director General of AIR, AIR News, Doordarshan, DD News welcomed Mr Surya Prakash at Prasar Bharati Secretariat in New Delhi. <br/><br/>A panel headed by Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu had recommended his name for the post. He will serve till 8th February 2020.'<br/><br/>Prasar Bharati oversees the functioning of Doordarshan and All India Radio.
