Veteran freedom fighter Ran Singh, who served as a Captain in the Indian National Army of Subhash Chander Bose, died today at the age of 93 in Haryana's Rohtak district. Singh, who died of old-age related ailments, was cremated with full state honours. Expressing deep sorrow over his death, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said he was a brave soldier and the country would never forget his contribution to the freedom struggle.
