Veteran actor Mr. Tapen Chattyopadhay died in Kolkata on Monday morning. He was 72. Mr. Tapen Chattyopadhay shot to fame with Satyajit Ray’s film Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen, where he acted in the character of vocalist Gupi. <br/><br/>Other films he worked in are Hirok Rajar Deshe, Gupi Bagha Fire Elo and Dhanni Meye. <br/><br/>Several actors and actresses of Kolkata’s Tollygunj Film Industry have expressed shock and grief at Tapen Chattyopadhay’s death.<br/>
