Assamese documentary 'Veerangana' was also screened at the 52nd IFFI today. 'Veerangana' has been selected for the Indian Panorama section in the Non-feature film category. <br />''<br />''It deals with the Assam Police's first female commando force 'Veerangana' which was launched in the year 2012. The documentary has also been screened at various national and international film festivals and was declared the Best Documentary at the Cochin International Short Film Awards, 2021. Lifetime Achievement awardee Martin Scorsese's English movie 'Goodfellas' was screened this afternoon. The film narrates the rise and fall of a mob associate and his friends and family. It was written by Nicholas Pileggi and Scorsese. Celebrated Israeli writer-director Nadav Lapid's 'Ahed's Knee ' is his fourth feature and co-winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes was shown today. IFFI is also paying homage to Kannada Superstar Puneeth Rajkumar today by screening his movie 'Raajakumara', directed by Santosh Ananddram.</span>
