In Japan, very high level of radiation has been observed in water in a trench just outside the turbine building for one of the reactors at the damaged nuclear power plant in Fukushima. Tokyo Electric Power Company, TEPCO announced that a puddle of water was found in a trench outside the number-2 reactor turbine building. It said, the radiation reading on the puddle surface indicated more than thousand milisieverts per hour.
