Verdict on Kasab's fate in 26/11 case on Monday

A Mumbai court will pronounce its verdict tomorrow on the fate of lone surviving gunman Ajmal Kasab and two alleged Indian conspirators in 26/11 terror attack. <br/><br/>A thick security blanket has been thrown in and around Arthur Road Jail where the special court will pronounce its verdict. Both the special court and the cell of Ajmal Kasab, are inside the high-security prison. <br/><br/>According to police sources, check posts have been set up at strategic points along the road which leads to the prison near Saat Rasta in south Mumbai. Patrolling has been intensified and sand bunkers erected behind which armed policemen are standing guard round-the-clock.<br/><br/>Kasab, a native of Faridkot in Pakistan along with nine slain terrorists, has been charged with killing 166 people, including 25 foreigners, and injuring over 300 at the instance of Lashkar-e-Taiba. If held guilty, they may face death penalty.
