Verdict on appointment of PJ Thomas as CVC to be binding on all: SC

Congress today said that Supreme Court’s verdict on appointment of PJ Thomas as Chief Vigilance Commissioner will be binding on all. Talking to the reporters in New Delhi today party spokesperson Manish Tewari said that BJP should refrain from a running commentary on courts proceedings. He added that the Home Minister has already clarified on the Attorney General's submission in the court and the matter should not be politicized unnecessarily. He also noted that enormity on Indian students who are stranded in the US Tri-Valley University closure issue should come to an end conclusively. He added that these students should not be treated as criminals as they are victim of a perpetrated scam and agents involved in duping the students should be dealt firmly.
