Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has dubbed the nationwide trade union strike as highly illogical. <br/><br/>Addressing newspersons in Chennai on the sidelines of unveiling the CD on the nationwide Tiranga Yatra at the Regional Editors Conference, Mr Venkaiah Naidu said the trade unions need to change their attitude.<br/><br/>Most of their demands have been met, he observed and said, minimum wage has been raised from Rs 246 to Rs 350, minimum pension from Rs 300 to Rs 1000, salary ceiling of central government employees for bonus hiked. <br/><br/>Opposing foreign direct investment would not be fruitful as more FDI generates more employment and economic activities.
