Information and Broadcasting Minister Venkaiah Naidu has requested all political parties not to politicize the issue of Triple Talaq. Talking to media outside Parliament this morning, Mr Naidu said every stakeholder is being considered by the Law Commission in this regard. He said Muslim women should have equal rights in the society. <br/><br/>According to our Correspondant the Minister was responding to media queries after Law Minister Ravishankar Prasad said that the government may take a major decision to ban triple talaq after assembly polls. Mr Naidu said political parties should not link the remarks made by Mr Prasad with the ongoing elections. Echoing similar views, Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, the decision will only be taken within Constitutional framework.
