Venkaiah Naidu opens Indian Panorama at IFFI 2016 in Goa

Information and Broadcasting Minister Vankaiah Naidu today inaugurated the Indian Panorama at the International Film Festival of India in Goa. Altogether 22 cinemas in feature film category and 21 movies in the non-feature film category are being screened in the Indian Panorama this year. <br/><br/>While opening movie in the feature film category was Sanskrit film Ishti, directed by G. Prabha, the inaugural film in the non-feature film category was Ima Savitri directed by Bobo Khuraijam. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Naidu said, Indian Panorama is a platform for young and aspiring filmmakers to show their talent and creativity to the world audience. The Minister said, Indian Panorama also provides an opportunity to filmmakers to show Indian culture to the world. Mr Naidu also felicitated cast and crew of both the movies as well as the jury members.
